Terms of Use

These Terms govern the use of the MoveDiet app ("app", "service") and the website movediet.app, operated by Medeiros Tecnologia LTDA, a Brazilian company registered under CNPJ 24.471.978/0001-08 ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Important health notice. MoveDiet provides general training and nutrition suggestions generated by software. It is not a medical, nutrition or fitness-coaching service, it does not diagnose or prescribe, and it does not replace an assessment by a qualified professional. Consult a doctor before starting any exercise or diet program, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant or take medication.

1. The service

MoveDiet generates personalized workout and meal plans from the information you provide, and lets you track workout sessions, meals, history and a shopping list. Part of the content is produced by artificial intelligence and part comes from built-in libraries of exercises and recipes.

2. Account and requirements

You must be 18 years of age or older to use MoveDiet.
Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out with them.
The information you provide must be accurate and up to date. Plans generated from incorrect data may be unsuitable for you.
You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Delete account.

3. Permitted use

You agree to use the app only for personal, lawful purposes. You must not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell or license any part of the app or its content.
Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
Access the service by automated means, overload the infrastructure or circumvent security measures.
Use the app for unlawful purposes, to harm others or to impersonate another person.

4. AI-generated content

Plans, swaps, shopping lists and photo-based calorie estimates are generated by language models and may contain errors, inaccuracies or suggestions unsuitable for your situation.
Nutritional estimates are approximations and must not be used for clinical management of diseases, severe allergies or conditions that require precision.
Review the content before following it. Stop any exercise if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort, and seek medical care.
Physical exercise carries a risk of injury. You assume that risk when you decide to follow any plan.

5. Intellectual property

The app, its brand, logo, design, code, texts, videos, illustrations and content libraries belong to Medeiros Tecnologia LTDA or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and revocable license to use the app under these Terms. The data you enter remains yours; you authorize us to process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Paid features

MoveDiet may in the future offer additional features through a subscription or in-app purchase. Price, billing period, renewal and cancellation will be clearly stated before any charge, and purchases will be processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under those stores' rules. Free features may change at any time.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, including those that depend on third-party services such as AI and authentication providers. Features that require a connection may not work offline; in those cases the app falls back to built-in content.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account whenever you wish. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, put the service or other users at risk, or when required by law. Clauses that by their nature should survive, such as intellectual property and limitation of liability, remain in force after termination.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and without prejudice to rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law, Medeiros Tecnologia LTDA is not liable for injuries, health problems, data loss, lost profits or other indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, the generated content or third-party services. The service is provided "as is".

10. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. For consumers, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction. In all other cases, the courts of the district where Medeiros Tecnologia LTDA has its registered office.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The current version will always be on this page, with the date of the update. Significant changes will be communicated in the app, and continued use after that communication means you accept the new version.
